joyful ,
HELLO GUYS.
I just had a vision.
A scene of tomorrow in school.
Here goes...
P.E. will be with lots of people asking, "Study le maaaa?"
Or SOME people will be skipping P.E. to study. (:
Chapel will be about diligence, etc, again.
Amidst eating during recess, words like "Studying? Want study? Let's mug?"
will be heard throughout the canteen.
Lessons thereafter, you'll suddenly see everyone quiet and paying attention.
Else, they'll be doing some other subject's revision.
Why?
All because... EOYExams are just weeks away!
Gosh.
& it only started to dawn upon me recently.
Oh well, I thank God for today's holiday.
& I'm proud to say that I've been studying Geography and Chemistry.
Hoooooooooooooooray!
Adam has started studying.
Guys, watch out. HURHUR.
Weeeeeeellllllllllllll...
Here's what I've NOT done.
Damn, I've yet to complete 'The Time Traveler's Wife',
my novel's Chapter I is still half-done,
my Student Council T-Shirt design is also half-done,
I still have more to study.
):
On a side note, I watched VMAs 2009 today.
(It was my resttime!)
4pm~630pm.
I'm happy for Taylor Swift (back off Kanye) who won best female video. (:
Beyonce & Lady Gaga both won 3 moonmen each.
Only anti-climax was Green day.
They won best rock video.
C'mon, Paramore was so much better.
Whatever.
Okay...
So this week is another tough week for me.
Let's see what's on my list.
1. Study
2. and Study
3. and Study.
How excruciating.
Oh well, it's gonna be all over soon, like it always does.
Bad point: Last day of school, this year, is 30th October.
(that's 1week more than last year!)
Alright.
God bless everyone and myself whom are doing last minute revision.
(Yes, if you only started studying now, IT IS LAST MINUTE!)
& for the rest who have yet to start studying, prepare to die. (:
PS: I created a Twitter account!
twitterLabels: maybe two is better than one.

renewing (?) ,
Hey guys.
Sorry for not updating for such a long time!
Lots of things happened recently.
Here are some things you want to know if you're stalking me. (:
1. New group of friends
2. Writing a new novel-to-be (The Pianist, The Dancer)
3. Reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" (awesome book)
4. Haven't started to prepare for exams (-.-)
Those are the more interesting things for now.
Alright. You must be asking, "New group of friends?"
Yeah, I know.
Because it became too overcrowded.
I mean, there's so many people coming in;
which I don't really mind, but it's becoming a crowd.
As you know me, I'm more of a 'less-people' person.
Besides, I realized I was never really into it anyway.
I was always alone. (I don't really have a person that's to me.)
For example, Zion with Jean, Germin with Gladys, Casandra with Alson/Javier.
Adam.
See my point?
So I thought I should leave.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate anyone.
It's not any of your fault that I'm gone.
But I think this is best for me.
Maybe that was too much for me.
All the drama and everything, I'm just not for that.
I thought it was all simple, and I was wrong.
I prefer simplicity.
Anyway, exams are coming.
So I think this would be best for me.
Well hey, I wasn't told anything anymore.
So whatever.
Maybe I'm just not ready yet, for now.
-changetopic-
I really feel very deprived in where I am right now.
I mean like, how would you feel?
You see people decorating the hall, and you know that you can definitely do better, but you can't, you're not allowed.
Can you comprehend?
I really feel stuck and not being allowed to grow.
Band, for example.
We keep playing those simple and boring songs that is so easy.
That's not really stretching us.
I'd really like something more challenging.
School, especially.
Souvenir-making, card-making.
I am so much better than others in doing them, but am not given the chance to.
Why are you restricting and limiting us?
Why are you not letting us shine and show our talents?
What's the use of being able to design when I'm not allowed to?
What's the point of writing when I'm told I can't?
I feel stuck.
):

facebookTWO IS BETTER THAN ONE
by Boys like Girls & Taylor Swift
I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life and I thought
"Hey, you know, this could be something"
'Cause everything you do and words you say
You know that it all takes my breath away
And now I'm left with nothing
CHORUS:
So maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
And maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two is better than one
I remember every look upon your face
The way you roll your eyes
The way you taste
You make it hard for breathing
'Cause when I close my eyes and drift away
I think of you and everything's okay
I'm finally now believing
CHORUS:
That maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
And maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you thought that it got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two is better than one
Yeah, yeah
I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life and I thought, "Hey,"
Maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
Maybe two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you thought that it got me coming undone
And I'm thinking
I can't live without you
'Cause, baby, two is better than one
There's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
But I'll figure it out
When it's all said and done
Two is better than one
Two is better than one
Labels: maybe it's true; that I can't live without you.

what a catch ,
Holidays are going to end in about oneandahalfhours time.

Bought lots of art materials & novel, "Home".
We did some FAILED paintings, & others.

Impromptu wasn't that bad afterall.
Rainbow was ugly though.
WednesdayBand!
To prepare for Band exchange.
Mac after Band.
ThursdayFirst Student Council Leadership Training/Workshop/Bonding/WHATEVER.
Had a leadership workshop by Mr Kang in the morning.
Then went for Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir.
Awesome ziplines & high elements.
(:

Endured her nonsense for the whole day.
Some school's lousy band major was worse than me. :X
Came home at around 5plus.
Slept at 6 through to the next day.
SaturdayPatch-up discovery class.
Youth Fellowship.
More Fellowship.
SundayTuition-ed.
Didn't go to church.
Went out with Mother & Brother to buy shoes.
Did a little homework.
Watched "The Devil Wears Prada" online.
That's it.
Looks like I've completely wasted the whole week.
Have you spotted the word "Revise"?
Didn't?
I thought so.
I'm sooooo dead.
EOYexams are like, less than a month away.
Gosh.
I'm gonna forget about everything and study.
Serious mode?maybeifallthisnonsensegoeson.stupidfriendships.adamismeantforlonely.They say the captain goes down with the ship.
So, when the world ends, will God go down with it?

excitable ,
HEY!
Went to school at 10am today for Workshop/Forest Adventure.Talked about 'leadership' for an hour or two.
Some group discussing.
Got to know new people. (:
Lunch was too much for me.
I was too full from breakfast.
Bus ride to Bedok Reservoir.
Sat with Zi Chao & Zhi Hao.
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeezy, but alright.
Forest Adventure was AWESOME.
It was quite nerve-wrecking in the beginning.
(we were afraid that we did not follow the safety procedures.
& those that did not were given a yellow band to shame them, HAHAHA.
- Mrs Chng & Zion.)
But throughout the course, it became more fun & smooth,
since we got used to the 'red on' thing.
& I love the ziplines!
SO COOL & FUN.
My landings were all perfect okay. (say I'm pro. :D)
I already conquered my fear of heights from the last sec3 camp,
so I wasn't really afraid.
The 'Tarzan Swing' was very exciting too!
We had to jump(freefall) and land(piak) onto the ropes.
THAT WAS SO AWESOME. (:
The whole course was actually quite easy.
Easier than we all had expected.
I thought we would do something like trekking & climbing real slopes.
CHEY.
Anyway, Bedok Reservoir is an awesome place now.
Slacked & talked after the course as we had to wait for other groups.
Mrs Chng completed it too!
I really applaud her. (:
Ms Ho treated all of us to some Macdonald's coke & apple pie.
Wee. (:
Jogged our way back to the carpark to board the bus.
& back to school!
PHOTOS:
facebookMade someone angry.
I'm so sorry.
I've found this bad habit with myself.
I always have this slip of the tongue & in the end offend others.
Please allow me to change for the better.
(:
Expect a huge change, GM.
Student Council's gonna take over, & you're gonna love it.:D

#Sep 10, 2009 / 9:50 PM
avant garde ,
I guess its waaaaaaaay past the Thanksgiving spirit.
Anyways, I shall still post on it.
85th Thanksgiving Carnival (050909)Mac for breakfast with Casandra, Jean, Alson, Javier.
Then went to school to set-up stall at 9am.
Perspiration, tiredness, frustration; all to describe the setting-up.
I have to say that we're the most creative class ever.
We actually tied strings from the tip of the tentage to the ground.
Then, we used tape, tape &
MORE TAPE to fasten the string to the floor.
Not good enough?
We actually got those pebbles from the CMS area,
and used it to anchor the string down.
Then, we taped & taped & taped even more.
& you know what?
CLEVER ADAM had to trip over the string.
Yup, & the whole structure broke down.
So Miss Lam came & commented.
Saying we were stupid(?), dumb(?).
Then she brought these bamboo sticks to fasten the string to,
to make sure our posters don't crumble again. -.-
She gave us lollipops. :D
Rushed off for duty-briefing at 12pm.
Mr Gage briefed us.
" Prefects & UGs will be taking turns every hour. "
So I went off
VERY RELUCTANTLY for my duty.
Oh wait, want to know what's my duty?
Ushering, in the hall.
What's at the hall?
Our dear LYC's iBounce & some lame ball game.
Walah, nobody was there.
Practically
NOBODY.
Very bad business.
iBounce starts at 1pm, so we were kind of 'off-duty' for awhile.
Watched the opening ceremy at the ledge over the side of the hall.
Brass-only band played fanfare.
BORING.
As soon as the carnival was initiated,
everyone scattered from the quardrangle.
So I began doing my duty & conversing to LYC(chatterbox) & Sean.
Was hilarious seeing some people jumping on the trampolines.
Finally, iBounce started & ended at around 1pmplus.
So... Adam 'discreetly' ran off from duty,
intending to slack & enjoy the carnival. (:
The atmosphere was a perfect carnival mood.
Loud boomboom music plus noise.
Explored the many stalls.
Visited my own class' stall.
Hello-ed to Pakhrin.
A&J were picking up pingpongballs.
PATHETIC. :D
Found Casandra & Jean. (& later, Gladys)
LUNCH!Bought some $2.50 worth of coupons nasi lemak.
Picnic at the CMS area.
Casandra showed her unglamorousness in eating.
Then, bought cupcorn. (or corncup?)
Cup was hit by soccer ball, (thanks to some idiots)
corn splattered around.
Was quite amusing, actually.
Thank God that I controlled my emotions. (& did not explode on them.)
Surprised by Jonathon & WeiChuan!
Casandra gave him that weird look again. HAHA.
I seriously didn't expect to see them there.
& it's like, finally getting to see emmations after 2weeks?
So glad to see Jonathon again. (:
Sooooon, was chased up to the hall for duty.
(In other words, was caught not doing my duty. :X)
Got an earful from Mrs Lian; so expected.
Saw Jun Tian upstairs. (& then Jia Min)
But I was guilty, & in a state of remorse until I saw Jonathon, again.
Caught up with him for a bit.
Then, off-duty!
Rushed home to change into band uniform.
Full uniform. -_-
Lucky our blazers were in the band room, or we'd be roasted.
Back in school, carnival mood was still on.
(& we had to go for band. -.-)
Reached the band room at 4pm.
Set-up flute, fall in, practise, set-up chairs, blahblahblah.
Soundcheck at the field at around 5pm.
HOT WEATHER.85th Thanksgiving Night ServiceStarted off with 2 of band's songs.
Then 2 of choir's songs.
I liked their first one with the solo parts.
Super nice.
Opening by Rev Nga & another Reverend. (whom I forgot)
Campfire.
Torches.
Primary School's performance.
School Song.
Dance performance.
Old/New flags.
GB's creative drill - Faith.
Splendid performances.
A bit of worship(played by Luke's band) here and there.
Finale was worship led by Mr Kang.
Band went very high.
Waved lightsticks.
Crowd sang.
Huge & bright moon.
Post 85th ThanksgivingSupper(some dinner) with lots of people.
Talked about things.
(:
HAPPINESS. (:PHOTOS:
facebookSAM (080909)Woke up late. (FINALLY! A plus for the holidays.)
Spent the morning thinking about what to do for art competition later.
Rushed to SingPost at Paya Lebar to buy my gold paint.
Then went to school.
There, I thought of a new idea & my write up for the competition.
Met Ms Han(New art teacher. She's cooooool.), Jia Yi, Andy.
Cabbed to SAM(Singapore Art Museum).
Saw Nicole Natasha Chee.
Not much anxiety though, & I don't know why.
Found a nice space, and settled down.
Waited for competition to start.
We did not use canvas. ):
Drawing block was provided.
Adam's weird habit #1: Don't like to wear shoes to draw/paint.
(Since I'm cross-legged on the floor)
Original idea: (try your best to visualize)
- A single line of red paint, brush at the end.
- Golden wisps spring up from the line of paint.
Simple?
That's my theme.
Art is SIMPLICITY MADE DIFFERENT.1st idea failed, miserably.
Started on another idea.
Was simpler this time.
- A garden scenery
- Rainbow (which turned out ugly, URGH)
- Sunset
This one is much much nicer. (photo at facebook)
Jia Yi did hers with 'art is life.'
She painted an embryo with a mindful of colors. (which symbolizes art)
Andy did his with 'art is creation.'
Typical anime girl bursts out of a light in a dark background.
As I walked around the hall a bit for inspiration,
I saw that many of others' paintings were very professional.
Mine cannot be compared to them.
But, to me, I think my painting is already very good.
It is simple, but nice.
& it's also different, since everyone's is so difficult.
3hours was more than enough. (:
PHOTOS:
facebookPost SAMWent to mac with Jia Yi.
Talked a bit about our works.
I think the best out of us is Jia Yi's, then mine, then Andy's.
Jia Yi's is very unique & is a perfect link to life.
Mine is simple, but different.
Andy's is too simple, & has no link. (Sorry, that's my opinion.)
Well, we shall wait for the results. (Don't think we'll win anything -.-)
Oh, we're gonna get our certificates during assembly some day. -.-
RANT:
On 85th ThanksgivingNight service.
I(I'm sure everyone else felt it too) was super pissed.
Pissed off with the sec1s.
I mean COME ON.
You guys are worse than the primary school kids.
When we did the wave & cheer, you guys just sat there.
Even the primary school kids cheered & waved better than you guys.
What an utter disgrace.
This is for the school; the whole event is.
But you all came to destroy it?
Please.
If you're just gonna sit there to comment & laugh at us, then why bother?
Why even bother coming?
Maybe Miss Ho made a big mistake by sending you guys down.
Maybe it would be better if the upper sec came instead.
Really.
The wave completely stopped at you guys.
The whole of the back rows were not standing, not cheering, not clapping.
Even the ex-students & current students in the middle were better.
What an utter disgrace.
What an utter disappointment.
(This is clearly to target the BAD Sec1s.
If you have a clear conscience, then this shouldn't be about you.)
What a bad way to end this post, eh?
