HEY MONDAY, school holiday.GMS's having a school holiday,
in lieu of the Thanksgiving ceremony on saturday, 1aug09.
Seems like I missed Thanksgiving's post.
THANKSGIVING - O1O8O9Went for band at 8am.
Was able to memorize the songs, and play them quite okay-ly.
As always, I liked marching, but had to leave at 1040,
to prepare for Thanksgiving.
So I rushed home with my flute and file. (later found out it's JiaYi's. -.-)
Showered, and went out again.
Was 10min late (1140), but nonetheless, it was okay that I was late,
since our rehearsal & whatsoevers hadn't begin.
All the prize winners & emcees (us!) were held in the MPR at GMS(S).
There, we slacked, relaxed, talked, took photographs till it was about 1230.
Was fun to laugh at the teachers' change throughout the years,
at the photographs on the MPR wall. (:
Even took some photographs with Mdm Chua. :D
Finally, went over to GMS(P) to rehearse & prepare for the ceremony.The prize winners were taught on were to stand, etcetc.
The emcess (us - Shawn, Deborah, Sheryl, Dayna, Myself) mainly relaxed.
(or in other words, slacked & commented & commented)
We didn't really had a chance to rehearse our parts properly,
so it was kind of nervous, but at backstage it's always fun!
Took photographs while waiting for our turns to announce.
Talked & laughed too.
Mrs Theseira is awesome!
She came over to join us backstage and talked to us.
I always thought she was a stern & boring teacher,
but I didn't know she was as fun as Mdm Eng!
She came over to me, and called me by name.
It seems that she remembered me (& Jasmine!)
from the Sec1 Orientation earlier this year,
when Jasmine & I were doing the MC for the Singspiration!
I didn't knew we had such an impact!
Okaaaay, enough about me.
Soon, Mrs Theseira went up and sang "Give Thanks",
another perfect rendition of the song. (she sings reaaaaaaaaaaaaally nice)
Mdm Eng is awesome too!
She talked to us like friends, (which many teachers failed to do)
and laughed together with us when we commented on certain things.

Alas, the ceremony was over & we went down for tea reception.Jeslin (Eng, ex-bandmajor 2007) was there & dragged me around.
It was nice to see her again. (:
Took more photographs. (with Mdm Eng also)
Reception was alright, but I felt that there weren't any Carbohydrates.
No rice or bee hoon like other buffets.
Quite disappointing, but their other food was awesome. (:
We (Emcees) sat with Mdm Chua,
as she pondered about her work with Miss Wong, and looked troubled.
We ate as much as we can, (well, not really)
and laughed as we talked about the staff.
(sheeeeesh. greedy, irritating people,
who tookaway food when we weren't even done.)
Casandra & Jean came to find us!
(finally. how could they not after receiving a call from Mr Adam, HAH.)
Finished up our food & helped to clear up.
Then went over to GMS(S) to take photographs with Mdm Eng & Mdm Chua.
Sadly, Mdm Eng went off already. ):
So, we took photographs with Mdm Chua.
She's really an awesome teacher. (:
Slacked a bit with Shawn, Casandra, Jean in the Prefects' room.
Then went for YF. (:
YF was enjoyable. (oh, when was it not?)I loved seeing Emmations & talking to them.
(I guess I really missed them after missing YF & church last week)
Missed YiHan & MeiYin.
YF ended quite early, & went for dinner with YiHan & Hendry.
Loved talking over dinner. (even though I didn't eat. :X)
Went back to EL for a bit of fellowship,
which turned out to be a chillax-ing session.
Learned that Jessie used to work at Night Safari. (SO COOL RIGHT?)
Had a nice time with Emmations. (:

Thanksgiving 2009 photosSUNDAY - O2O8O9Had tuition in the morning.
Has been 2 weeks since I've seen my tutor, missed him just a little. (:
Went for Service after that.
I loved seeing Emmations again!
Had make-up acorn class with BinHua & AlsonS.
Learnt about prayer.
We sang this awesome song, "Children Of God"!
Service was okay.
Elder Elijah Lee shared about faith through John 2:1-11,
which helped me to regain my faith. (:
No family time though (sadface), since a youth was suspected of H1N1,
thus, all the youths had to sit on the left side of the pews.
It's only precautionary, though.
After service, caught up with fellow Emmations.
MeiYin was sick. ):
Loved spending time with YiHan. (:
Went for dinner with YiHan & Olivia at Bugis.
In which YiHan left halfway because he had a family buffet.
& I threw a little tantrum. HAHA
(sheesh. so blessed)
Leaving Olivia & I alone. -.-
Went shopping with Olivia after dinner.
She asked me questions about girlfriends.
"No, I won't bring her to a post restaurant."
"No, I won't mind the age."
hahahah, it was hilarious.
Walked around a bit before coming home.

Finally woke up on my own freedom,
without having to wake up at any specific time. (oinkoink)
Have decided since yesterday, that I would stay at home,
to do geography & study a bit.
Then, prolly I'll join Casandra & gang after that.
(They went for Harry Potter without me lor. suckers. :X)
In the end, I failed miserably.
I was doing some other stuff before I actually started with Geography at 1pm.
& I was tired, & bored, & lazy.
So napped after doing half an essay. -.-
Here I am now, geography undone, a failure.
